This policy explains what personal data PSYB (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, why,
and your rights over it. It applies to https://psyb.uk.
PSYB is an individual based in the United Kingdom, and is the data controller for the
personal data described here. Postal address: 168030, PO Box 7169, Poole, BH15 9EL.

1. Data we collect
- Account details — your email address, username and a securely hashed password when you register.
- Two-factor authentication — a TOTP secret used to verify login codes.
- Newsletter — your first name and email address, plus your IP address and timestamps recorded to prove consent (double opt-in).
- Payments — subscription and store purchases are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details; we keep your Stripe customer/subscription identifiers, billing cycle and status, plus your email and order records for store purchases.
- Usage & security — limited technical data such as IP address and request timestamps, used for login rate-limiting, abuse prevention and security logging.
- Analytics — to count unique and returning visitors and see which pages and sources bring traffic, we record page views together with a hashed identifier derived from your IP address and browser. We do not store your IP address itself, and we use no cookies or cross-site tracking for analytics.
- Communications — messages you send us via the contact form.
2. How we use it
- To create and run your account, subscription and downloads.
- To take payment and fulfil store orders (including emailing your download link).
- To send the newsletter you opted in to (you can unsubscribe at any time).
- To secure the site — bot protection, login throttling and fraud prevention.
- To understand how the site is used (visitor numbers, popular pages, traffic sources) and improve it.
- To respond to your enquiries.
3. Legal bases (UK GDPR)
We rely on: contract (to provide your account, subscription and purchases);
consent (the newsletter — withdrawable any time); and our
legitimate interests (keeping the service secure and preventing abuse).
4. Third-party processors
We share data only as needed with providers who process it on our behalf:
- Stripe — payment processing (subscriptions and one-time purchases).
- Mailjet — sending newsletter and transactional emails (download links, confirmations).
- Cloudflare Turnstile — bot/abuse protection on our forms.
- Our hosting provider — to store the database and files.
Each provider has its own privacy policy. We do not sell your personal data.
5. Retention
We keep account and order data for as long as your account is active and as required for
legal, tax and accounting purposes. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.
Pending (unconfirmed) newsletter sign-ups and expired download grants are cleared periodically.
6. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data,
object to or restrict processing, withdraw consent, and request data portability. To exercise
any of these, email us on psybofficial@gmail.com.
7. Cookies
We use a strictly necessary session cookie to keep you logged in and to protect forms (CSRF).
Payment and bot-protection providers may set their own cookies needed to deliver those services.
Our own analytics are cookieless and store nothing on your device.
8. Changes
We may update this policy; the “last updated” date above will change. Significant changes will
be highlighted on the site.
